So... Why is it Fridays seem to start out soooo great, the morning is cheerful, you start working, feel like your accomplishing things because all of a sudden everything you have been working on all week is ready for completion!
Then you go for lunch. Finish off the last of a few things. And then poof!
2:30PM Hits and the rest of the day drags on like it will never end!!!!
What the hell! I mean I work with very entertaining people... have entertainment everywhere I look... and there are not enough smoke breaks to get me through the last hour and a half of the day! Probably why I started this blog in the first place!
Take my co-worker for example! We are having an issue with a new printer. Turns out the new printer doesn't support 24lbs paper. My solution, send the printer I just bought back and order a new one that does support the 24lbs paper. Now keeping in mind that this decision is going to mean upping the budget I was given for the printer as I did purchase the best quality printer in the budget range provided to me. But what do you want? The printer to meet its primary function in printing cheques? Or to sit and look pretty and be a very expensive photocopier? Anyways... She has been informed by myself that its just the way it is unless we return the printer... She sent IT on the problem. IT told her nothing can be done... (I personally witnessed this conversation)... Her response... "Ah no... I think there is something you can do if you try harder!"... I think not. It is what it is.
My next question... Did they keep the box and packaging to the printer like I asked them too??? Probably not, wanna know why?? Of course you do because you don't have a choice! Because I'm Just Some Girl who knows nothing in this place other then how to answer the phone... or every questions and problem every employee has around here!
Well... That killed five minutes... now to kill the last hour!
